Unveiling an Autumn Adventure: Traverse through Kent Falls, Campbell Falls, and Dean Ravine with Nature Enthusiast Gerri Griswold!

Embark on a captivating journey with the White Memorial Conservation Center as we present “Fall Expedition: Discovering Kent Falls, Campbell Falls, and Dean Ravine” alongside the seasoned guide, Gerri Griswold. The adventure is set to commence promptly at 9 a.m. on a crisp Saturday morning, precisely on September 9. Our meeting point is the picturesque Kent Falls, nestled at 462 Kent Cornwall Rd. (Route 7) in Kent.

Our escapade commences at the stunning Kent Falls, from where we shall trace the enchanting path along the meandering Housatonic River. Prepare to be captivated by the splendid sight of the covered bridge in West Cornwall, a true emblem of rustic beauty. Our journey takes a pause at the breathtaking Dean Ravine in Cornwall, allowing us to bask in nature’s tranquility.

The crescendo of our expedition unfurls as we venture over the majestic Canaan Mountain. Our passage will wind through the sprawling Great Mountain Forest and the idyllic Norfolk region, ultimately culminating at the awe-inspiring Campbell Falls.

Our journey is expected to culminate around 3 p.m., ensuring a day filled with exploration and wonder. To make the most of this adventure, we advise all participants to come prepared with a packed lunch, ample water, and attire suitable for the prevailing weather conditions.
